No experience required: you can come without ever having touched a machine in your life.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch3\u003eWe start with the most important thing: your machine\u003c\/h3\u003e\u003cp\u003eYou will see the parts of a modern machine and the functions you really need at the beginning: how to set it up, thread it and put the bobbin in without the buttons, wheels and threads feeling like a whole world. The idea is that next time you sit down at one — here or at home — you know where to start.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch3\u003eNeedles, threads and all those things nobody explains at the beginning\u003c\/h3\u003e\u003cp\u003eWhy are there so many needles? Which thread do I use? Why does it keep breaking? What do I change depending on the fabric? We will talk about needles, threads and basic materials so that you understand the basics and can apply them in your own projects, without memorising theory.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch3\u003eAnd now, let’s sew\u003c\/h3\u003e\u003cp\u003eWith the machine ready, it is time to practise: your first seams, controlling the speed, guiding the fabric, sewing straight and trying different stitches. You will have time to repeat, and we will be close by to correct things with you and give you those tips that make handling the machine feel more natural every time.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch3\u003eYour first project\u003c\/h3\u003e\u003cp\u003eBecause you learn by sewing something real. Besides the beginner’s lesson, we will make a mini Christmas project: individual placemats to set your table with this festive season, putting into practice what you have learnt.
