Cookie Policy
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are data files stored in your browser and on your device when you visit a website. They can serve different purposes, such as recognising the user, storing and retrieving information about their browsing habits, or personalising the way content is displayed.
2. What information do cookies store?
Cookies store technical information, personal preferences and content personalisation settings. They do not normally contain directly identifiable personal information; anything they may contain is only what the user has entered in a form on the site, and it is usually encoded.
3. What types of cookies are there?
According to the entity that manages the domain they are sent from:
- First-party cookies: sent from a domain managed by the publisher itself, from which the service requested by the user is provided.
- Third-party cookies: sent from a domain managed by another entity, which is the one that processes the data obtained.
According to how long they remain stored:
- Session cookies: collect and store data only while the user is browsing the website.
- Persistent cookies: the data remains stored on the device for a period defined by the party responsible for the cookie.
According to their purpose:
- Technical cookies: enable navigation and the use of the different options on the site, such as identifying the session, remembering the items in an order, completing the purchase process or applying security features.
- Personalisation cookies: allow access to the service with predefined settings, such as language, country or currency.
- Analytics cookies: allow user behaviour to be measured and analysed in order to improve the service.
- Advertising and behavioural advertising cookies: allow advertising space to be managed and adverts to be shown based on observed browsing habits.
- Third-party social network cookies: used so that visitors can interact with content from social platforms. Their use and the information collected are governed by the privacy policy of the platform concerned.

Third-party content
Certain pages include content served by third parties which may install their own cookies at the moment that content loads: product reviews (Judge.me), the Instagram feed, videos hosted on YouTube and the PayPal and Shop Pay accelerated payment buttons. The way each provider processes that information is governed by its own privacy policy.
5. Legal basis and retention
The legal basis for installing strictly necessary technical and personalisation cookies is the Owner’s legitimate interest in providing the service requested by the user. For all other cookies, the legal basis is the user’s consent.
When you enter the website, a cookie notice is displayed allowing you to accept all cookies, reject the non-essential ones or choose by category which ones are authorised. Until the user gives consent, no analytics or advertising cookie is installed.
Users may change or withdraw their consent at any time from the cookie management link available at the bottom of the website. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.
The information obtained through cookies is kept for the retention periods indicated in the tables in the previous section.
6. International transfers
Some of the providers listed are established outside the European Economic Area or belong to groups whose parent company is in the United States, so their use may involve an international transfer of data. In those cases, transfers are covered by the safeguards set out in Chapter V of the GDPR, such as the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
7. Disabling and deleting cookies
Users may allow, block or delete the cookies installed on their device through their browser settings. If cookies are disabled, some services or features of the website may be unavailable or may not work correctly.
Cookie management varies from one browser to another. Below are the links to the instructions for the main ones:
8. Updates to this policy
This Cookie Policy may be amended when the tools used on the website change or when applicable law requires it. We recommend reviewing it periodically.
