Sew your own laptop case in one afternoon
An afternoon to learn new techniques while you make, with your own hands, a padded case for your laptop: pretty, practical and made by you. No previous experience needed: we are with you throughout the workshop, showing you step by step and answering every question.
What you will learn
You learn by doing. We show you how to use a modern sewing machine so that you get comfortable with it and gain the confidence to carry on sewing on your own.
You will work with several layers of fabric, the padding, the curves, assembling the pieces and the finishes, with our tips to make every step easier. And if something does not work first time, we do it again with you.
What you will sew
Your own padded laptop case, sewn by you and ready to take home the same day. A short but very complete project: you practise several techniques and leave with something pretty and useful.
What the session is like
We sew together in a group of no more than five people, step by step and without rushing, adapting to each person’s pace. You can come even if it is the first time you have sat down at a machine, or if you already sew and fancy a lovely project and an afternoon among fabrics.
What is included
We provide everything: your machine ready to go, the fabric and the rest of the materials, all included in the price. Coffee and a drink for the break too.
You do not have to bring anything. Come ready to sew and, at the end, your case goes home with you, made by you from start to finish.
